Job search

Through discussion Eyes Wide Open will assess your knowledge of job searching. What methods to use; Internet, newspapers, word of mouth, LinkedIn, Twitter and trade specific magazines.  We will introduce you to specific websites. We will design a log which will help you keep track of positions applied for and introduce you to the numbers game. We will also act as a monitor and motivator for your job search activities.

CV Development

You may have a CV which just needs updating; you may have excellent computer skills and just require the knowledge of formatting a CV or the correct wording.  You may have no idea what a CV is or how to use it. You may just want a career professional to check your CV before you use it. Whichever category suits your needs Eyes Wide Open is there to help.

Application Forms

Eyes Wide Open will help you complete application forms, either written or on-line. We will give you the knowledge and confidence to be able to complete application forms knowing that you meet all the criteria a company requires for you to be invited to interview. Of course there are certain situations when you meet all criteria but still receive no invitation to interview. Eyes Wide Open will give you the best opportunity.

Interview Techniques

For many people Interviews are a time of great stress. It could be that you haven’t had an interview before, or you haven’t had an interview for a number of years. Eyes Wide Open will help you prepare for the interview process. We will discuss with you the many types of interview that are currently being used. What sort of questions you can expect to be asked. How best to answer those awkward questions.

Clients requiring interview practice can contact Eyes Wide Open to arrange a mock interview. All we would require from you is the position you are being interviewed for. We would then design questions for this type of employment and conduct a full interview. Feedback and if required a development plan would be issued.
